Who can qualify for services?
| Children may become eligible for Birth to Three services if they have a diagnosed condition which is likely to result in developmental delays. Examples of these conditions might include Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, sensory impairment (visual or hearing), autism, fetal alcohol syndrome/effects or other chronic, progressive medical conditions. Children may also receive services if they demonstrate a delay greater than 25% when compared to their chronological or adjusted age expectancies in one or more areas of their development. |
